Sensory Room Donations

Hi, my name is Alyssa and I am the mother of two wonderful boys! I am also a member of The Spectrum Connection and a board member of Reach for a Difference, the nonprofit here in Abilene that provides resources to people connected to autism or neurological disorders like add and odd. Both of my boys have been diagnosed with Sensory processing disorder and my older son is moderately autistic, nonverbal, as well as a series of other issues. We go to therapy almost every day of the week, but we really struggle at home. I think that having a sensory room at home would help us tremendously! However, the way we have been struggling with money, I simply cant give this to my children. I also have a dream to start a support group for Reach for a Difference and hope that the families would feel safe in knowing that their children have a place here to feel safe. If anyone has any of these items and are willing to donate them to my family and upcoming community support group, I would appreciate it more than words can describe!
